Three new doctoral students have started at the RPMLab
We are happy to welcome Patrick Bianchi, Sofia Michail, and Markus Rast.
Patrick Bianchi and Sofia Michail are working with Claudio Madonna and Paul Selvadurai on understanding natural and induced seismicity by performing laboratory seismology experiments. They are working within the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) led by Prof. Stefan Wiemer. Markus Rast will work with Claudio, Jonas Ruh, and Quinn Wenning on coupling mechanics and fluid flow of evolving fault zones at the laboratory and field scale. Markus will be hosted within the Structural Geology and Tectonics group led by Prof. Whitney Behr.
