Axial Press

This device consists of a simple hand pump press which has been equipped with a load cell and an LVDT. Samples can be compressed with forces up to 100 kN. The machine is equipped with multiple sensors which are sampled up to 1 kHz. These sensors are: Force (from Load Cell), Displacement (from LVDT) and two strain gages. Acoustic emissions can be monitored during the experiment using an independent computer.
